Green Hope High excels in both academics and athletics.
Green Hope High School in Cary has the reputation as one of the best high schools in the State for academics with average Sat Scores in 2017 of 1,223.
Green Hope High Sports
Did you know Green Hope’s sports program is ranked #1 in the country? Cary is an outdoors and sports oriented town. The town has kids baseball, softball, volleyball, and basketball. Cary tennis park, located across the street from Green Hope High, has 30 courts and was recently renovated. Lots of soccer programs including the YMCA and soccer clubs. Lacrosse is popular too. The Thomas Brooks Athletic Complex has four 300-foot baseball/softball fields. The USA Baseball National Training Complex is off of Green Hope School Road. It’s worth stopping and having a look, it’s impressive.

The 2017-18 Fall Sports version of the MaxPreps Cup is looking very much like the 2016-17 model, but with a slight twist.
Last year, Green Hope (Cary, N.C.) surged to the lead in the MaxPreps Cup, which ranks the overall athletic performance of high school sports programs, behind state championships by the boys soccer team and the girls volleyball team, along with runner-up finishes by the boys and girls cross country teams and the girls tennis team.
Fast forward to 2017-18 and Green Hope is still in first place behind three state championships and a runner-up finish. Read more
